Admission requirements

Academic grade and experience:

• Candidates who want to attempt the external certification exam must have a minimum of four years cumulative, full-time experience in one or more of the eight domains of the current CSSLP Exam Outline.
• Earning a post-secondary degree (bachelors or masters) in computer science, information technology (IT) or related fields may satisfy up to one year of the required experience.
• Part-time work and internships may also count towards the experience requirement.
• Candidates who don’t have the required experience to become a CSSLP may become an Associate of ISC2 by successfully passing the CSSLP examination. They will then have five years to earn the four years required experience.

Language: Proficiency in English (course material and support only available in English).
