What is the difference between Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365?
- Microsoft Office is intended for usage on one computer and Office apps such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are installed after a one-time purchase of the package. If you want to upgrade to future releases of the software, you need to purchase that package.
- Microsoft 365 is cloud-connected and includes Office apps such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, but it works on a subscription base. This includes access to all the latest features, updates, security, and online storage.
