Recommended completion period: 22 months
(including coursework, assessment, workplace experience, examination preparation, internal and external assessment processes).

Examination:
External integrated Summative Assessment
- The final assessment is an External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) conducted at a QCTO-accredited assessment centre. The assessment evaluates both theoretical knowledge and practical application of the qualification.
- The EISA is conducted under formal examination conditions and is open book, meaning candidates may access approved learning resources during the assessment.
- The total assessment duration is approximately five (5) hours, depending on the assessment structure at the accredited centre.
To be eligible for the EISA, students must:
- Successfully complete all required knowledge and practical modules.
- Provide evidence of completed workplace experience requirements.

- Moodle access is provided for the duration of the enrolment period and any approved extension period.

Class schedule and support
- Classes are conducted three times per week.
- Classes are primarily presented as live evening sessions with one live Saturday-morning session, to accommodate working students and those with workday commitments.
- The lecturer will communicate the detailed class timetable during student orientation, including specific days and session times.
- Students should expect to dedicate approximately 11 hours per week depending on prior knowledge and assessment workload.
- In order to access all online support sessions, students require access to a device with a stable internet connection.
Workplace access requirement
Access to a suitable workplace is required to complete the workplace experience component. Students are responsible for securing a suitable workplace placement. College SA may provide guidance and support in identifying potential workplace opportunities; however, placement cannot be guaranteed.
